Prags/Braies: between nature and responsability

The story behind the concept

Our motivation

The Pragser Tal valley is part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most popular excursion destinations. To protect the natural environment, improve traffic safety, and enhance the visitor experience, access to the valley is temporarily restricted during the summer months.

44€ - more than a ticket

A quick look at the combined ticket price

The €44 ticket includes full-day parking, the bus if needed, and a €22 voucher redeemable at restaurants and shops.

Why the €22 voucher?

With this voucher, you get €22 of your ticket price back - and at the same time, you support the people who make the Pragser Tal valley so special.

The valley thrives on its family-run businesses, which pour their heart and soul into offering regional specialties, hospitality, and unique experiences. In the past, many visitors would stop briefly at Pragser Wildsee lake and then drive right on. For the valley, this mainly meant traffic - with little economic benefit generated locally.

With the combined ticket, we want to change that: We invite you to discover more of the Pragser Tal valley - its restaurants, shops, alpine pastures, and huts. This way, your visit becomes a special experience, and at the same time, you support the families who have shaped this valley for generations. The vouchers are distributed fairly among all participating businesses so that everyone can benefit.

A wish for our guests

One Place. One Promise.

Prags is a place that thrives on its tranquility, its natural surroundings, and its sense of balance. In recent years, interest in this special place has grown—and with it, the responsibility to protect it.

Here, sustainability does not mean sacrifice, but rather mindfulness in the coexistence of nature, locals, and visitors. The Prags Promise invites you to experience this place mindfully and to preserve it together—for today and for the future.

Südtirol Alto Adige Ranger

I am the Südtirol Alto Adige Ranger for Prags. I am happy to welcome every visitor who comes to our valley. My wish is that visitors treat nature with respect and consideration.

Residents

Thanks to the traffic regulations, our valley became not only more organized and peaceful, but also quieter. This is not only a benefit for us, the locals, it also ensures a more relaxing vacation for guests in our valley.

Gastronomy

Above all, our guests appreciate the tranquility, the natural beauty of the Dolomites, and the special atmosphere in Prags. That is why it is important that we preserve these qualities for the future.

Assistant police

It's important to me that the valley is kept clean - both on the streets and in nature. It's also important to me that we all get along well.

Infopoint

A well-prepared guest will have a relatively relaxing time here in our valley. We’re happy to provide our guests with information on the best ways to explore the valley and fully experience nature.
